Five decade of Education in Old Campus, made in mud and Mortar
Till 2008 the strength of the Junnediya High School and Primary School of Urdu and Kannada was 1000.There were 30 Divisions in 15 class rooms. The School was run in Two shifts. This was creating the problem for many girl students. They were finding it difficult to reach the School. As they were staying 6 to 7 Km away in the farm houses in various places. For morning shift, the girls were to get up early and help the mother in milking , cleaning and cooking. Then walk down 7 km in the rough roads to reach to the School at 7am.
In the evening the afternoon batches were finding the same problems. So these odd timings and travelling in early morning or late in the evening, for distance, were creating lot of hindrances for Girls education.
